Scott Reynolds is a Freelance IT Consultant based in both Sydney, New South Wales and Adelaide, South Australia, working on a number of exciting projects for clients locally and abroad. He has a background in marketing and brand development with a Bachelor of Management (Marketing), and now uses that knowledge by helping clients develop meaningful and memorable brands, apps (both web and mobile), websites and social media presences. He has extensive experience in UX and UI design, and combines his knowledge of measurable marketing to deliver solutions that have quantifiable results.
After working in both information technology and education (tertiary and school-level) since 2006, and unofficially for many years before, Scott has a deep understanding about the use of technology in education and how both websites and mobile apps can be used to help further education across all ages. This knowledge has led to many creative projects, including augmented reality tours, interactive portals and information systems, apps for controlling and interfacing with third-party products, and numerous video, audio and print creations.
Scott worked at Apple in South Australia, and was instrumental in producing video content (including time-lapse), HTML email templates, presentation keynotes and other widely-distributed marketing materials. Prior to this he worked on numerous corporate marketing projects, and has spent considerable time working with not-for-profit entities. Scott pioneered the technology and concept behind the South Australian local community engagement project, Community Panel, and managed all EDM, web and survey aspects involved with this widespread endeavour. In addition, he has provided continued volunteer assistance to local organisations who were aiming to make more of a splash online, managing further EDM communications, redesigning and redeveloping websites to enable e-commerce functionality, and managing all aspects of more traditional print and radio marketing campaigns.
